GPS-Enabled Quadcopter Boasts an Impressive 1 km Range

FreeX is the company that manufactures FreeX MXFC quadcopter drone. An excellent stand for aerial photography or videography.

As expected, the quadcopter is equipped with the regular drone features such as automatic Return to Home, IOC/headless mode, altitude hold, position hold, and more. Though it already has a built-in GPS inside, it wouldn’t hurt to use a standalone GPS tracking system like Trackimo for a more accurate data.

The 280 mm quadcopter comes with an 11.1V (3S) 3000mAh battery that can give up to 10 to 15 minutes of flight time. The MCFX controller has a few toggles with various functions and has a control range as far as 1 kilometer or .62 miles, which is not bad for an RTF quadcopter.

Inside the package, you will also find gimbal, but you will need to buy your own GoPro. As for its electronic descriptions, the quadcopter motors are brushless 2212-1050KV, while FreeX branded 15A ESCs, OneTouch 4 flight controller, and an Rx/Tx kit power the radio.

The FreeX MCFX has been around for a while and is currently priced at $258 with free shipping. But if you have EBFreeX, you can get it at a lesser price, $238.99.
